A telphone service which you ring for relief when there's a tune lodged mysteriously in your head and you can't shift it...

The blurb might run like this: If "Barbie Girl" is emptying your head, if "The Lion Sleeps tonight" is keeping you awake or if you just hate REM... ring "Dial-a-replacement-catchy-tune-atronomatic3000" now and quickly choose a replacement song from our list of thousands (easily grouped by category on the phone or searchable on our website). If you like we'll even pick a random catchy song for you. In the unlikely event that it's the same one you're having a problem with you'll get a full refund...

Maybe the name needs work... (more x's?) but I know I'd use this service!

(Tangent: have you noticed how catchy tunes spread round offices like a *virus*? Only more tuneful.)

Sorry bout that - is this better?

I don't know if this would work for anyone else, but I've found that the old Coke song, "da da da da dat, always Coca-Cola" is catchy enough to displace most irritating tunes, yet is one my mind can let go of pretty easily...sort of like palate-cleansing crackers between tastes of wine.

Heh [beauxeault], ok then. I find just thinking of a song I really like does the trick for me.

It would be better if you could figure out a way for them to call you - or better yet, just show up at your location and start singin'!
