Dogs already drive, (link) This canine controller would allow them to accelerate, brake, shift gears to drive through various on screen course challenges.
I'd have it drop a treat after various levels were successfully reached.
Addendum: This idea dedicated to Alfie. Good boy, may you rest in peace.
A video game controller version of this.

I think dogs get video games.

Video per se would not interest them; there would have to be smells. |

(For some reason, autocorrect wanted "smells" to be "angels"). |

Hmm, maybe have them chasing an image of the treat that gets dispensed if they catch it? I think youre right though, theyd need something to show them the payoff. I don't think saving the princess is gonna get them particularly motivated. |

Off-topic, but, after a long and happy life, my dog died this morning. (That was a few hours after I posted the anno above). His heart wore out, and it was over in about two minutes. |

That's awful. But at least you could give him the life he had. What was his name? |

I'll light a candle for Alfie. |

Sorry to put a dampener on this cheerful idea, [dr3] |

On the contrary bro, see addendum. |
