Double-boiler Hydrometer canning device.

Why is this not a thing?

My wife will get little projects she feels compelled to do, like buy forty pounds of tomatoes and enough onions, garlic, etc to make home made salsa for the coming year.
I'm like; how can I help?

What? I like salsa.

So I stir, or chop, or whatever all the while wondering why this has to be so tedious.

Introducing the Double-boiler Hydrometer canning device!

The double boiler has a secondary water reservoir and float valve to replenish the water in the boiler as needed.
Whatever is in the double-boiler can never burn as it can only ever reach 100 degrees. An internal impeller stirs while the integrated hydrometer alerts you as to how much evaporation has occurred, and you remove your concoction at exactly the right consistency every time.

No husband required.

I'm not complaining by any means, I'm wondering what she will suddenly decide next that we randomly yet absolutely need to do that she will be right about and I will have not seen coming...

...but she did ask me to help, and this device would help so much.

But like... both of us.
