Hook up a stationary bike to a computer. A meter keeps track of use, and more calories burned = faster internet connection. A good incentive to work out, and you might end up with some geeks with nice legs.

       I was about to post something like this when as a well-mannered half-baker I did a search and found this little commented upon but rather good idea. I am beginning to get a little worried about deep-vein thrombosis developing as I sit here (economy class or not)
