Fix Umbrayonets! is the new command barked out to soldiers on the march when it starts raining.

On receiving the new order, each soldier reaches down to their belt, and whips out one of the new Umbrayonets, then fastens it into the special clip holder located at the end of his/her rifle.

They then smartly snap open the typically shaped, water-proof, reinforced hood, thus effectively transforming their shouldered weapon into that of a military styled umbrella.

May I suggest that the rifle has a button allowing the umbrella be gimbol-ed and bottom heavy so as to be effective rain protection even while firing?
No?

       Well (+) anyway

Nice drawing, but shouldn't the umbrayonet be camo-coloured so it is less visible? (Stealth Umbrella anyone?)
