Like many people, I work with a memory stick constantly around my neck full of files that follow me around. It's not an ugly stick - silver and lozenge shaped, but it has the company logo on it and says 'geek' very loudly. Why aren't there any genuinely attractive sticks around? USB007 make some really tiny memory sticks that could easily be incorporated into a small pendant (not an advert or recommendation - just an illustration of how small they can be). It's generally men I see wearing a stick so probably something plain, male and abstract would be work, although more feminine versions should be available. Of course, being jewellery each piece would ideally be hand finished and unique but to keep costs down there would probably have to be a large range of mass produced designs. The other alternative for the more daring is to buy those UV-sensitive lighter sleeves that you get in headshops and festivals and find a memory stick that fits it. Probably less use than a lighter when at Glastonbury though...

If thumb drives say 'geek' loudly, these emblazon it in pink neon letters above your head and follow you around geekily with the Geek National Marching Band, singing Glory to the Geek in the key of geek. [Detly, Oct 04 2004, last modified Oct 05 2004]

That's more like it Detly - it may BE geek, but it doesn't LOOK geek. Until you use it that is.

Not a very original idea. Better looking USB stuff. That is kinda like saying, better looking jewellery, or more stylish cars, or normal cars but they go faster!

Come on everyone try a bit harder...

I rather thought it was saying "USB memory thingies that look like jewellery".

Okay PainO - fairly baked then. The i-an-iPod was good, but the Aquarium was better!

Ah your flatery has made me change my mind. (even though I posted an aquarium which would be difficult to class as jewellery and as far as I know doesn't even store files.) See Sea Monkey Jewellery for more info on weable aquariums Jewellery...
