I think this would be a great thing to not do.

Goldfish Fountain

The crackers not the fish - although you're welcome to give anything a try.

This novelty fountain makes use of upward air streams with a slow, low-pressure column of air in the center surrounded by a ring of slightly inward facing high-pressure columns. Simply pour a box of goldfish crackers into a colander to remove dust and crumbs then pour the remainder into the center.

The brightly-coloured goldfish will bob and dart around in an amusing manner whilst your guests gaily reach in trying to catch a snack. Fun for them and spectators. Place near the chocolate fountain.

Annotation:

Oyster crackers, popcorn, chopped onion greens, any thing light enough to float on a small amount of air, that wont stick to or damage it's neighbors or dry out so as to be inedible in less than a quarter hour.

Get some cardboard boxes, duct tape, and an old style vacuum cleaner that you can put the hose in the exhaust end. You can build a prototype to see what floats and is neighborly.

Supermarkets might want something similar to display free samples.

Excellent. Our residents eat a lot of Goldfish and this would occupy them for quite a while. Anything that combines food with movement.

This could be implemented with actual goldfish.

Well, [Ian], frankly I'd assumed [AusCan] was using the current street lingo referring to a new form of Crystal Meths.
