The picture is of a theif stealing a picture of a theif stealing a picture of a theif stealing a picture ....

Each "picture" is being stolen in a different way/position.

I thought this was going to be a first person Cat burglar video game where you would have to steal famous works of art using Mission Impossible style gadgets. <disappointment ensues>

I dunno. If this is simply a lame excuse for a pun, I think you could have come up with a better idea.

I thought this was a reference to Arlo Guthrie. Weird.

Also- I hate to be the spelling nazi but it pains me to see "thief" spelled wrong three times in the same sentence.

Asside frohm da krappy speling, I think you're idea has some merit. Have you ever been in one of those K-Mark changing areas where each parallel wall has a large mirror, and the reflection of yourself seems to stretch on forever? You could paint it in one of those, and have the added bonus of being able to catch glimpses of people between-clothes!

I thought this would be an Idea involving remotely controlled droids to rob banks. I may have started writing a story about that one time ... I think I set it in N.O. during a hurricane, when the power would be out.

I was hoping for a video game based on an art thief.

"Ars longa, vita brevis" (Hippocrates )

So short a life, so many disappointments ....

(Actually, it translates better as "If you have a big bum, it's very important to wear briefs").

I got a really big chuckle out of this idea just now. I miss that little [DesertFox]'s sense of humor.
