Subscribe to this RSS feed, and if you add an idea, the change will show... May need some modification to do exactly what you want (by RSS not email, obviously) [Dub, Feb 17 2012]

Description (displayed with the short name and URL.)

I can't remember exactly how I set it up, but I have a custom HB view/page that lets me see annotations to my ideas in reverse chronological order. I can, with one click on the left side of this screen, see the date of the most recent comment.

(Try going to "Recent" page or even the default page you get when you click the croissant logo, and then click on the little "edit" near the top.)

[-] I'm a firm disbeliever in mailing lists... despite, or possibly because of, having worked on one of the first commercial directed snail-spam projects.

But a View sounds interesting: way to catch up after a couple weeks off.
FlyingToaster, Feb 15 2012

       it would be opt-in, obviously
simonj, Feb 15 2012

Well, it won't email itself to you but here's your view [simonj]. [link]

Hey, I bet an app could give a notification...

Call me a purist or whatever, but I like HB the way it is.

I like everything except for the lack of subscripts and superscripts.

Is that coastal or hill Rongo-Rongo?

Just set up an RSS Search link for your posts, when one's updated you'll be informed

I would love to see this too. And for recent additions. I don't understand why others here want to prevent you from getting an email, but there seems to be very strong resentment towards this type of innovation.

By the time I understand what that is it will be too late.
rcarty, Feb 20 2012

An hour ago I was thinking about it, because I found myself uselessly checking back to see if there are any comments to my ideas... It would be more convenient than setting up specialized cron-jobs. [simonj], opt-in.

On the other hand, I don't want HB to be "yet another distraction in my mailbox", it has to be something different.

       You would have got mail.

For the h'baker on the go, check out my "You Have Pastry" idea.

'You would have been getting mail' surely?
