HOA-Bot
One Bot to Mow Them All, One Bot to Trim Them, | |
Instead of everyone buying their own lawn & garden tools/robots, HOA-Bot will mow all lawns, trim all hedges, prune all trees, suck up leaves, etc across the entire neighborhood. HOA-Bot will be paid for by HOA fees.
Neighborhood residents will be able to log into the HOA website to book their periodic
session for HOA-Bot to come by and service them. An audit log will be displayed on what work was done and when, for them to review.
Actually, HOA-Bot could really be a family of bots, each having specialized tools best suited for the required tasks at hand. This team of bots will be carried around on a truck which takes them around to the various houses as needed.

Love the idea of robot landscaping as long as the cutting tools are relatively immune to accidents, string trimmers and the like. Wouldn't want to be finding dead squirrels or birds. |

HOA's are pure evil. I think the need to help the residents will cause them to implode. As such, [+] |

Bots would be supervised by a human. Leveraging a single robot, or single set of specialized robots, across an entire neighborhood would be a much more efficient use of capital. How much of the time does your average lawn-mower actually get used, as compared to sitting idle in the garage/shed? |
