A posting that has a list of the most extensive, longest Halfbakery discussions.

Putting up 2 fries' "Just thought you should know" at 28,245 words, unless there's others out that that have more. If so I'll change the ranking accordingly.

Has nothing to do with content, just interesting to see which ideas sparked the most discussion.

Update: MechE put up two that were much longer. Re-arranged the list accordingly.

I don't remember if the 41,000 word count was for just one of the ATTR ideas, or all three of them grouped together, but they really were one discussion.

ETA: Just the one. But "faster valve action", and "non-working reactionless drive" really should be grouped with it.

I won't swear the two I linked are the longest, but anything where I ended up arguing physics is a likely candidate.

Thank you Mech, neatened up your posts. (Gave you credit)

Top thread has 60,000 words. To give some sense of scale, my favorite novel, The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy is 46,333 words long.

Only 7,112 words. Not a contender.

Although might be a contender for most bones. 171, yikes!

Voice, he's still around but has a little boy who is cuter than any of us.
