Hilari- austerity

There's no reason austerity has to be so dull.

Recent news stories have highlighted humorous contradictions in the planned austerity reforms that will affect virtually all Western powers. Namely anti-austerity protesters are a most austere bunch comprised of many low- income working class people. And those in favor of austerity are high-income heads of State and industry who live in luxury.

Regardless of my own opinion of the new austerity measures, I propose Hilari-austerity. This new kind of hilarious austerity will offset the asceticism of scrooginess with comical inconsistencies that will leave people in stitches, without the follow up medical coverage to have them removed professionally.

So, if a gunman used less bullets in a political assassination, would that be considered *austere*?
