The best place to install In a Silent Way,
Under a Willow That Weeps is in your
garden, if you have one. The presence of
large and well developed weeping willow
helps, though other trees may also
The device itself is simple, consisting of
of bark coloured tubes that you
run along the limbs of the tree, adding
smaller and smaller capillaries until you
reach almost to the end of the branches.
This tubular network is then connected
a remote, pumped water supply.
Now all you need do is to sit under your
tree, and turn on the water. A
curtain will descend, connecting the
remaining free space under the drooping

cooling the blood -The Hippopotamus
||Home: garden: water: meditative calmness... Autobun. Oh yeah, nice idea too.
||How to get the bark pipes to trail over the branches? This is the part that interests me (besides the visionary aspect) because I would like to see little robots able to follow the decreasing radius of the tree and always correcting their path as they climb up into the tree to place the little pieces of tube together.
||//Mud, mud, glorious mud - there's nothing quite like it for cooling the blood//
||So follow me, follow, down to the willow...
