Scratch and scan and tell you whether you won.
Date and time stamp with a machine readable encrypted cipher to prove you had the ticket at that date and time.
Add
up the cost of tickets, maintain a win-loss record by ratio and cost, add up prizes, and perform whatever other math is necessary.
Print the win value on the ticket.
