This lottery ticket device would, as settings dictate:

Scratch the tickets and leave you the fun of figuring out whether you won.
Scratch and scan and tell you whether you won.
Date and time stamp with a machine readable encrypted cipher to prove you had the ticket at that date and time.
Add up the cost of tickets, maintain a win-loss record by ratio and cost, add up prizes, and perform whatever other math is necessary.
Print the win value on the ticket.

Includes an input hopper, a winning ticket output hopper, and a losing ticket output hopper. All reasonable sizes and paper types accepted. Buy the monthly software update pack to support new lottery ticket types. Includes interface with state lottery APIs when that interface fee is paid.
