MC Escher Bar

A bar with no central space, but rather a series of windy unpredictable staircases.
  [vote for,

There would be landings that had bar spaces on them. People would be free to roam from one to the next. Escalators and carousels would complete the dish. Music would be light, and perhaps jazzy (I'm thinking Nina Simone's Sinnerman from The Thomas Crowne Affair.) No central dancefloor leads to more chances to have a private convo with that chick you saw on the down escalator.

Fire hazards be damned.

Sounds like hell for the drunk clientele. But since I love Escher's work and I love drinking, [+].

If there's one thing worse than being sick into a water feature flowing through a bar, it's being sick into a water feature flowing through a bar and watching the sick circle the bar forever, falling over waterfalls again and again.

       Perhaps drinks in silver spheres?

Inspect closely & draw before consuming.

Somebody's tipping the room on me...

It would be an awkward moment indeed when, after navigating a series of particularly confusing stairways, you come face-to-face with yourself.

If you wanted to be really evil, you could put in a Dali Chill-out Room for people who could no longer cope with the Eschery-ness of it all.

UB, don't look at me like that! <kinda sidewise>

[wagster]! that is an inspired idea.
"It's all too much funny angles!. I'm going for a sit down."
"Oh No!, now its gone all drippy!"

I'd imagine a dali chill room would most likely be one hell of a funny place. I'd hate to be the one to clean vomit outta the place. Ha.
