I often pop out to the supermarket at lunchtime to grab a couple of things for tea, and I nearly always leave my glasses on the desk at work. The problem is I can't see the signs at the end of each aisle. So the solution is "magnificaisle", a pair of glasses hanging at the end of each aisle with multi focal lenses, merely popping on the Magnificaisle glasses will allow you to identify the products along the aisle, get an approximate location of the product you need, release the glasses (which are on a sort of mini bungee rope so they don't dangle)then off you go.....

Much the same problem. [DrCurry, Oct 04 2004]

I believe the Billy Connoly principle applies here, when some one down the other end of the aisle screams out, "Look at that firkin big pair of eyes down there!"
