Modular Rucksacks.

Share the load. Or don't.

Walking long distances with a friend or partner, it's sometimes nice to share the load. Other times, it's nice if someone carries everything, and the other person has a rest.

Trouble is, you can't wear two rucksacks, unless they're "Modular Rucksacks". Whether the zip, fasten, or press together, or whether they use a 'retro' toggle system, the modular rucksack should be designed to be large but thin, so that even when two are zipped together, the centre of gravity is not so far from the spine as to pull the walker's shoulders from their sockets.

Available in black, navy, and rainbow.

Baked. I have a large backpack that has a smaller daypack that zips onto the back of it.

The US military has been using ALICE packs for a while. They are modular, but cumbersome and tough to manage ... a better system is a fresh idea indeed. Packs come in small, meduim, and full which attach to the frame <link>. Also linked is UsCav's spread of ALICE components ...
