A wordless international symbol with 120 degree rotational symmetry
will indicate that the object so marked is liable to lead people in its
environs to Do The Wrong Thing, usually in such a way as to defeat the
original purpose of the object itself.
I was thinking that the symbol might somehow
combine winking eyes
and pointing fingers.
If the use of this symbol were to be placed under the control of a
corruptible international commission, then it could become neatly self-
referential.
