       Which bits of one?

I thought that would be apparent.

I quite like the idea of a pants horn, though I tend to wear my own trousers about 3 sizes to big +

Actually, I will vote for this if you change the spelling to "Pantshorn". It looks more interesting that way, like some venerable word whose spelling and pronunciation have drifted eccentrically apart over the years.
MaxwellBuchanan, May 12 2007

I thought this would be an idea for a new kind of codpiece.
jutta, May 13 2007

       That would be the hornpiece.

I thought this would be a device similar to a car horn to help one get through crowds.
Spacecoyote, May 13 2007

That would be the butt horn.

Oh, why not? After all, we have plenty of things to help get one out of their pants.
Noexit, May 14 2007

Gr: "to help get one out of one's pants."
MaxwellBuchanan, May 14 2007

That's the first time I've seen the abbreviation 'gr' for grammar in this context; I rather like the way it simultaneously corrects the grammar and growls like a dog.

I can imagine the invention being a bit awkward to use; it would invole holding behind your back, would it not?

//I can imagine the invention being a bit awkward to use; it would invole holding behind your back, would it not?//

It couldn't possibly be any worse than trying to cram your ass into a pair of pants three sizes too small, although a long handle would help.

In hindsight, I should add that I have no trouble at all getting into my own pants, and that this idea came to me while ... oh, nevermind.
