A basic GPS receiver that has a photovoltaic charger and a "clockwork" generator built in. Needs no external power. Crank the handle for five minutes and it tells you where you are. Or just leave it in the sun (if any)*.

Yes, but they're not integrated. Extra kit to lug around and get damaged or lost, fiddly cables, the works. |

I like this - the solar panel will encourage you to move out from under foliage, where the GPS doesn't work very well. |
