Singing golf ball

"Happy Birthday to you"
  [vote for,

Once hit, the ball sings a tune for a few minutes, thus allowing the ball to be more easily traced.
Although, I think there might be some better tunes.

Jaunty little ditty about being unable to find a golf ball. [jutta, May 01 2016]

little holes pierced into the ball might make it *sing*

The theme tune to Rainbow would be a goodun.

For me it would have to be a very short song. Perhaps a spoken word version of the classic "Tequilla".

       Better: Screaming golf balls.
Almafeta, Sep 19 2006

/Screaming golf balls/ Or if you hit a lousy shot they just snigger.

Water hazards and being clubbed could be hard on the electronics. Better not use fragile things like vacuum tubes.

Weight distribution that is off center would cause changes in flight character.

Maybe better to start with footballs, that are already unbalanced some.
