The Never Lonely Gump Stoppers are a
series of bus stops featuring a
reconstruction of the famous scene from
the movie, where the character of Forest
Gump waits patiently for a bus to arrive.
They are especially useful where a long
wait is anticipated, as you may carry out a
form of conversation
with the replica
figure. This action requires the deposit of
a few coins, upon which the Gump
character begins repeating random
phrases from the film, punctuated by
pauses of varying lengths, blinking, and
moving of his head and mouth.
