The Never Lonely Gump Stoppers are a series of bus stops featuring a reconstruction of the famous scene from the movie, where the character of Forest Gump waits patiently for a bus to arrive.

They are especially useful where a long wait is anticipated, as you may carry out a form of conversation with the replica figure. This action requires the deposit of a few coins, upon which the Gump character begins repeating random phrases from the film, punctuated by pauses of varying lengths, blinking, and moving of his head and mouth.

You may wish to bring a friend and video this encounter, or simply sit there, happy not to be entirely alone as you wait for your bus.

no,thanks anyway. A coin operated fortune teller such as the one in BIG would be more fun.
