My proposition is simple. An alarm clock which synchronizes its alarm with a rooster monitored at your time zone's Rooster Monitoring Center. The RMC facility houses a rooster and a computer which listens for the "cockadoodledoo". A small fee paid for the service pays for maintenance of the RMC.
be fooled by imitators, our system is the only one which uses genuine free range roosters.

||Since roosters crow for many different reasons at all hours day and night, being rudely awakened at 2:00 a.m. would be a regular occurance with your system.
||My cell phone alarm is very good at understanding that when I tell it to ring at 5:10 a.m., that's all it does. It doesn't seem to care if a wolf arrives before dawn (at a monitoring center as much as 1000 miles away, no less).
||...Indian Rooster Centres, with massive arrays of diurnally-sequenced illuminated soundproof cubicles. All rooster calls arrive at your bedside phone, just as you sit down to dinner...
||...unless you register yourself on the "Do Not Rooster' register.
