True Onionskin

Layers of waste.

So much of that lovely diaphanous outer layer of onions is carelessly trashed, ignoring the breathless, filmy, transparent (or translucent) elegance that careful handling can produce in a luxury fabric.

The varied earthy tones of brown onionskins, or the red hues of red onionskins enhance skin tones and float alluringly when made into haut couture.

Of course, white onionskins are preferred for bridal, medical, and sport applications.

No smell, no heartburn, TO is the next level for gourmet fashionistas.

I would like to think that processing could make the diaphanous onionskin a bit more durable.

Did you know that if you don't cut the top or bottom off while dicing an onion it won't release the chemicals which forces a human eyeball to release chemicals which cause a person to cry?

       ...

Well now you do. So there.

Wasn't there "onionskin" typing paper? I know, I'm dating myself.
