So much of that lovely diaphanous outer layer of onions is carelessly trashed, ignoring the breathless, filmy, transparent (or translucent) elegance that careful handling can produce in a luxury fabric.
The varied earthy tones of brown onionskins, or the red hues of red onionskins enhance skin tones
and float alluringly when made into haut couture.
Of course, white onionskins are preferred for bridal, medical, and sport applications.
No smell, no heartburn, TO is the next level for gourmet fashionistas.

Well now you do. So there. |

Wasn't there "onionskin" typing paper? I know, I'm dating myself. |

Sure there was, norm. We used to stack it up alternately with the eponymous carbon paper to create successively blurrier versions of the top document in a device called a type writer. By the time you got down to number 4 in the stack it was perfect for filing with the IRS. |
