Everytime I do the dishes or clean the
table, there are certain food
"deposits" that can only be removed
by the judicious use of my thumbnail
(for scraping). How about a pot
scrubber with a business end made
from the very same substance? I'm
thinking that since cow horns and
horse hooves
are basically made from
the same stuff, they would do a great
job scraping off the baked on lasagne
(or whatever). Also, since it's
relatively soft, it would do less
damage to cookware than the
alternative: steel knife or spoon. The
implement could even be in the form
of an oversized thumb.

The scraping portion would biodegrade being made of a horses hoof, I don't want to scrape my dishes with a rotting fake thumb. A plastic or rubber scraper would be cheaper, easier to make, and not decompose in few months. |
