Fiber optic functions on bicycle

How do you check your rear lamp on your bicycle is bright while riding your bicycle at night?. Get a fiber optic cable to run from yor rear lamp to the handle bar to indicate the brightness.

You can also use a fiberoptic cable and lamp to indicate which gear you are in. When a small mirror attached to the gears moves it will illuminate a different fiber for each gear.

A fiber optic cable wrapped around the frame with a cracked outer cover will light up your bicycle.

Welcome to the Halfbakery! Good idea - there should be more fibre-optics on bicycles

//Welcome to the Halfbakery!// I hope that's not been on your to-do list these last 20 years, you'll be running out of things to do at this rate.
