Cellular Insects

Make your cellphone look like a giant cockroach

For many cellphones, you can get plastic "skins" that have variuous designs and colors.. Boring!..

I'd like to see slip-over flexible plastic covers to resemble various bugs and critters. Imagine a 5" long cockroach hanging off your belt, or on the side of your head!..

Bugs, small furry animals, babelfish, lobsters, anything. It would best if it could hang on to the user's ear / head with it's own appendages.

Even the face of the phone could be covered by a thin printed nylon mesh to form the critter's "belly".. With appropriate ringtones, it could even make ringing sounds to match it's design.

(?) Lobster telephones are famously Baked http://www.stats.br.../sculpt/lobster.htm
Apparently Dali came up with the idea after fooling around avec ses amis using real lobsters as make-believe phones. [DrCurry, Aug 21 2002]

Somewhat nearer to the core of your idea, I believe. [Warning: do not browse this web site while eating dinner.] [DrCurry, Aug 21 2002]
