Genetically engineered cows
identical in every respect to the
original except in size. These
feline-sized bovines are calm,
quiet good with children and
require little maintenance.
Buy one for every member of the
family and let the coäts
(pronounced co-ats) graze your
yard. You'll never
have to mow
again! (Yes, I'm talking to you
[Rods Tiger])
With a little patience and care,
you can even have fresh dairy
products on a daily basis.

I'm starting to understand why buffalo wings are so small. |
|
|
Miniature mammallian mowing is most perfectly baked in the form of guinnea pigs. These mow much more neatly than rabbits and are easy to keep. You don't get much milk out of them though. |

Mephista: Carnivores appreciate cows for other reasons, as well. |

My wife would like a corral of miniature horses in
some corner of the living room, none more than,
say, two inches high. We'd let them roam free
across the shagpile savannah, and cleaning up
after would be a lot less troublesome than those
bonsai buffalo we had last year. Had to hire out a
pride of Li'l Lions to clear 'em out. |

Before we take on our mini-Mustangs, anyone
know how to exterminate an infestation of Li'l
Lions? |

a friend of mine, while dining at his favourite chinese restaurant, ordered his favourite dish - sliced beef with black bean sauce - and found in his food what he concluded to be the vertebra of a cat sized cow. needless to say he doesn't eat there anymore. |

Those hooves might be hard on wood flooring... |

I like this a lot.... meiaooooooooo!!!!!! Just hold one over your morning coffee and deliver fresh milk. |

I like this a lot.... meiaooooooooo!!!!!! Just hold one over your morning coffee and deliver fresh milk. I just wonder how small you could breed them? (imagines a micro-cow grazing on a patch of grass the size of a mouse pad, or even smaller cows wandering about amidst the "players" on a subbuteo table) |
|
|
Holding a mini cow over your coffee may not produce the desired result. |

How would you expect a cow to respond to being picked up by a giant hand and suspended over a pool of steaming hot liquid? |
|
|
We have a standing joke at work, along the lines that any device designed with small and inaccessible parts will be assembled or serviced by miniature polar bears. |

Perhaps I could loan a handful of MPBs to Adhib? |

|
Why not cow-sized cats, i.e. woolly ligers? |
|
|
I think cat milk is an acquired taste, yet. But the maintenance trade-off might be something to consider. |
|
|
Plus: good luck getting the cat milk... |

The man once said "You can milk anything with nipples." |
|

... and some things without nipples. Vipers, for
instance. |
