Criministal Maze

An enormous labyrinth filled with non deadly or injurious puzzles you have to solve to win your freedom. The most heinous criminals start at the centre, lesser offenders nearer the edge.

The prison is constructed with concentric rings that can slowly revolve, perhaps at night,so that repeat offenders can never use the same route.

Prisoners could only move outwards so that they don't end up moving towards the centre and increasing their sentance

Puzzles could teach the criminals lessons valuable to returning them to society.

Best of all it would be somewhere to put Richard O'Brien

Yes it's name is a pun and yes it was inspired by [spacemoggy]'s puzzle prison. So at worst I should have annotated that idea. I felt it was significantly different to merit its own entry.

I actually have no particular problem with Richard O'Brien other than for creating the Rocky Horror picture show. Everytime we have a television charity extravaganza it is obligatory for news readers to dress up as characters from the show and 'do the time warp'

As for being baked, well as I understand it if it were baked it would exist, if it exists there would be references you could kindly place here. And yes I am aware of Theseus and the Minotaur, that was another inspiration.

As for my ideas being crap . I didn't think it was crap, I thought it was quite good, thats the reason I posted it.

I believe that if you don't like an idea you can bone it. If you wan't to tell me why its crap, which a bone doesn't, then please do I am open to constructive criticism.

I looked in the prison and punishment categories and no one had suggested it. They may well have thought of it before the disk crash, but being only human I don't posess an all seeing eye.

I've looked at about 4 ideas in a row, and they were all odd and nonsensical. I think I preferred the overdose of custard ninjas, though not by much.

[r_sid], UnaBubba often words things harshly - - but seldom does he actually miss the mark. You've been cranking out ideas left and right, the great majority of which (to me) are utterly unremarkable and nigh-upon spam. Just one man's opinion. (Err . . . two mens' opinions.)

I like rambling_sid's idea... I think that the maze should be placed in Australia or somewhere equally barren so that when the prisoners "---gain---" release from their sentence they get to construct a great civilisation and eventually declare independence from the rest of humanity...

Perhaps particularly weathly prisoners can buy their way out and perhaps then use the rest of their wealth to build great big houses with pools, fences and girls called Sheila --- thus earning the god given right to be called Bruce...
