You're always wrong.

Whether you first push or pull this door, it doesn't open; it only senses whether you've pushed or pulled. Then it sets itself so that it opens the other way.

I have one of these. I call it "lock".

This is a wall. And *this* is a fishbone.

What happens if two people try to simultaneously open the door from each side?
DeathNinja, Aug 13 2003

I've seen this accidently baked on the doors in our office. Once you swipe your badge, the catch is supposed to release. Some of the catches are a little bit sticky, so you have to push the door to get the catch to release, then pull the door to open it. I've seen a couple people spend quite a bit of time trying to get in...

But replace "a couple people" with "myself".

I pick door number three. What do I win?

No, that's Evil Door III in 3-D. Get your glasses at the door.

im confused, is this a real idea?
crispee, Aug 14 2003

Isn't it a pun? Wasn't the first one a pun?
beauxeault, Aug 14 2003

do people vote + depending on the silliness?
crispee, Aug 14 2003

My guess is yes in far too many cases. I have a theory that everyone but me presses the + and - completely at random.
Worldgineer, Aug 14 2003

*sigh* thank you. I thought i was the only one who noticed. although that frustrates the whole point of a + and -

which seems to encourage more silliness! ahhh the silliness is taking over! it's too much! ...cant...fight...it!
crispee, Aug 14 2003

Damn. I appear to have hit [annotate] at random. <whistles nonchalantly while nervously sidling off the site.../>

This idea is evil -- to a 'takes your breath away with it's evilness' degree.
