A fork with a dull knife on the edge | |
This fork would have a small dinner knife on the edge of one of the outside prongs so you could use your fork to cut things more easily without having to use two hands.

I've been dreaming of Knork for years. One enhancement I've been working on is a flat area for your pointer finger to push the Knork through pizza -- eliminating unsightly pressure marks. |

When a company manufactures a product that could possibly injure someone and doesn't monitor that edge, they ask for a law suit. The quality control department wasn't doing there job. The knife/fork combo is a great item,(also for the elderly). I was cut by a knork I bought in Kansas this summer(a minor cut not to sue over). I was testing it (knowing it was very sharp on one side) and not being careful. I myself am patent pending on a knife/fork combonation that works great. You can bet your bottom dollar that every edge will be checked to be safe. Your neglect is your loss, and the Consumers Confidence Union shouldn't condem every knife/fork combo out there. |

Dixie said they have never made knorks and that the statement was false. I guess I should have known that it was false, because

The knork already exists, well, at least the concept does. There are these plastics forks with a serretated rim, but that prong almost always breaks off when you try cutting anything. Or the plastic melts because of the warmth of the food you try to slice.
What about this idea: a fork with one prong that is spoon-like, one prong with serretated rim, and two prongs left for prodding.
