A fork with a dull knife on the edge

This fork would have a small dinner knife on the edge of one of the outside prongs so you could use your fork to cut things more easily without having to use two hands.

Now we just need someone to suggest a knoon (spife?) and we'll have all three. I guess maybe a grapefruit spoon already counts...

I've been dreaming of Knork for years. One enhancement I've been working on is a flat area for your pointer finger to push the Knork through pizza -- eliminating unsightly pressure marks.

This idea seems to work well. Samples of the Knork are now available at www.knork.net

These have been around for ages. Usually used as dessert forks to slice off a piece of cake before eating.

So if you have a dinner setting with a spork, a knork, and knoon, how should they be properly arranged? And which one do you use for the salad?

Good, heavy duty utinsil. Really useful for people who might have limited use of their hands (arthritis, etc.) They look good too.

DIXIE SETTLES $5 MILLION LAW SUIT - KNORK TOO SHARP

Hicksville, LI. A man has just received a $5 million settlement against the giant plasticware corporation for severely cutting his mouth on a Knork which, he claims, was too sharp.

"We craft each Knork to enable the slicing of pizza without unsightly pressure marks," Dan Greenham, president of Dixie, Inc. commented Thursday.

Though each box of Knorks bears the warning "Use caution when inserting into mouth", advocates for consumer safety say that this warning is inadequate and that the Knork is inherently unsafe.

"A combination knife and fork is a patently dangerous utensil, one which I believe should never have been invented," objects Joe Birnbaum, founder and director of the Consumer's Confidence Union. "We intend to find and destroy every Knork out there, if it is the last thing we ever do."

Doctors say that the plaintiff is making a rapid recovery. They predict no lasting damage from the lacerations, although they believe minor scarring will remain for life.

When a company manufactures a product that could possibly injure someone and doesn't monitor that edge, they ask for a law suit. The quality control department wasn't doing there job. The knife/fork combo is a great item,(also for the elderly). I was cut by a knork I bought in Kansas this summer(a minor cut not to sue over). I was testing it (knowing it was very sharp on one side) and not being careful. I myself am patent pending on a knife/fork combonation that works great. You can bet your bottom dollar that every edge will be checked to be safe. Your neglect is your loss, and the Consumers Confidence Union shouldn't condem every knife/fork combo out there.

Knork,Knork,knork--If you have not used the knork yet you are missing out. I checked out the knork.net site and I was not able to order. Has anybody else had this problem or is it just me? I also checked out the lawsuit claim with Dixie. Dixie said they have never made knorks and that the statement was false. I guess I should have known that it was false, because I don't think that there is a town or city called "Hicksville,Li ?????

       ANYBODY???

There is a Hicksville, Long Island (I'm from NYC)

The knork already exists, well, at least the concept does. There are these plastics forks with a serretated rim, but that prong almost always breaks off when you try cutting anything. Or the plastic melts because of the warmth of the food you try to slice. What about this idea: a fork with one prong that is spoon-like, one prong with serretated rim, and two prongs left for prodding. WHO NEEDS CUTLERY ANYWAY? you've got your hands & teeth & soap. (who likes peas anyway haha)

Hi! My name is Brad Owings and I'm the Vice President of Phantom Enterprises (The creator of the KNORK). I wanted to look into the false information that this site has put forth about our product. Knork Flatware stands behind all of the product that we sell with a lifetime money back guarantee of satisfaction. The products are 18-10 stainless steel and forged, that is the highest quality in the flatware industry. Phantom Enterprises has (never) recieved one negative phone call or e-mail from any of our customers about the KNORK or any other product that we produce. Dixie has never made a product called the KNORK. Phantom Enterprises has created a plastic KNORK in three grades of plastic. I feel that the plastic knork is the best in the industry. I hope that this brief comment is taken seriously and all of you look to www.knork.net for truthful information. Thank you, Brad Owings Vice President Phantom Enterprises...
