Replace TV Show Laugh Tracks With Flashing Indicator Light

Like they do in the TV studio.

If any of you ever attended a live filming of a TV show, you know they have "Laugh" and "Applaud" signs.

They actually work. If you fake a laugh, you actually start laughing.

So bring it home. When a joke is told on a sitcom, flash:

"LAUGH YOU IGNORANT SWINE!" or some variation of that on the screen.

I'm not kidding, if the lines were varied, somewhat interesting and funny, I'd probably laugh. I do think it would have to be insulting though or it wouldn't be funny.

Now here's a show with the laughtrack removed. https://www.youtube...watch?v=OjthQKzX88g

Replace the entire TV show and in fact the TV set with a flashing sign.

       ...and a hit of acid?

I can't watch any show with a laugh track. It irritates the hell out of me. The tracts don't even sound like the way real people do when they go haha.

The home sign might get on my nerves as well. I don't like being told what to do...EVER. Maybe not a good idea for me.

Ever watch the old Lucy show with Desi Arnez (the guy who played Ricky Riccardo) laughing on every laugh track loop? He had a very distinctive laugh and it was constant throughout the show.

Rather watch a flashing laugh sign on acid. Probably funnier.

One comedian from the 80s pointed out: "Those people laughing in the laughtracks? They're all dead now..."

For [Bliss] the sign could say "KEEP A STRAIGHT FACE. NO GIGGLING"
