Swarming Croutons

A device that can manipulate croutons, single or en mass. The device might use optical tweezers for the fiddly bits, and magnetism for broader strokes - using food-grade iron particles in the croutons.

What a boon to society would it be to get the latest stock market info scrolling down your meal etc.
