TiVo Trash Can

Damn, I want that show back!

Since it's just a computer, I don't see why TiVo can't have a trash can feature. When you delete a show, it sits in there until the space is needed for another show. The user could decide whether they want the auto-recorded shows to overwrite trash can shows.

       Isn't the default behavior of TiVo that it will overwrite programming as needed to satisfy space requirements except that it allows programs to be "protected" against such deletion? Not saying an "undeletable" version of delete might not be a good idea, but I think TiVi already sort of implements this (if you don't mind your listings being cluttered). If you could sort programs into folders, then you'd have basically exactly what you want I'd think.
