In order to hasten the Harpazo, some cell phone service provider could:

Use visualization software to draw a map of the tone, pitch, wah, etc of a lot of cell phone conversations, use voice recognition software to create transcripts of the conversations, hook people up to biofeedback and feed this information back into the system, coordinate the biofeedback information with transcript and use statistics to match certain common visual shapes with similar biofeedback responses, predict what people will feel according to what words and emotional shapes are being used, feed this information back into the system, increase people's ability to communicate more clearly and emotionally, feed the new conversations back into the system and have a "rap"-ture in no time at all. Also in no time at all we will all start to sing and grunt to eachother based on the visualizations in order to more efficiently manipulate eachothers emotions toward some common goal, and may quickly end up in a giant writhing pile of emoting flesh, or else I will get out from behind the computer and find myself some friends forthwith!

       This could make for some kind of M. Night Shyamalan plot.

       <ringtone noise>

       "Hello?"

       "NOOOOO!!" <throws cell-phone into the ocean...>
