give each contestant seed money to purchase a house in las vegas which would be a 20% downpayment on a house in the $200k to 230k range. each contestant would have to purchase a house following the contest's requirements, i.e. 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 car garage, lot size>.01 acre, etc. the contestant who gets the best value house first wins the house. the houses will be judged by a panel of a real estate agent, an appraiser, and a contractor. the show will follow each contestant securing a loan for the necessary finances to buy a house, house hunting using listings and an assigned real estate agent, being shown houses and making offers on them, and closing the deal. additionally, the commentators will point out the mistakes each contestant is making in their house hunt.

I'd bet the Las Vegas market is a pussy compared to the market in Hampton Roads.

//I'd bet the Las Vegas market is a pussy compared to the market in Hampton Roads.//

you'd have to go to vegas to place that bet though.

'my real estate market could kick your real estate market's ass.' now i have seen it all.

And then there's always the Long Island Hamptons.

$230k ??? Could I buy 3 or would that be cheating?

The //lot size>.01// smells like rant. Did you move from Idaho to Vegas and now you are disappointed that you don't have room for growing potatoes any more?

[RayfordSteele] that link is very inappropriate. I guess that's why it is so much fun.

//'my real estate market could kick your real estate market's ass// [xclamp] I believe the idea is about house hunting, not horse punting.
