much power,speed and good engineering go into making cars to market [partly] to boy racers so they can impress girls and be better than the other boy racers. excessive huge engine power is unnecessary: [given our motor laws] but impressive,however it could probably power a flying machine by now. to have a fast car but not be allowed to drive it that fast . then change the desire for power into a desire for flight: then have a machine capable of flight but not allowed to fly then have flight develop under vanity
