recolorable metal paint gives decorators wider abilities

The metal paint could be strongly or slighty absorptive of coloring (as are numerous plastics) then reflow to a shiny appearance with a warming light or if necessary a tub of colored fluid with a warming laser plus photosensor that made sure the colorization was even

Think of all those lighting sconces that could go from light creamcheese to sky blue as a decorators preference
