Guide to getting drunk in USA https://en.wikipedi...f_the_United_States
Tip: For easy access, visit a state where you can get the hard stuff in grocery stores. [a1, Apr 19 2023]

The decision I would make is that my local off license should deliver a case of champagne to my house every week, at no cost to myself. The defense of this decision is twofold: (1) I like drinking champagne and offering it to my guests, and (2) I have very little money. The command I would issue to the off license is to deliver the goods as specified. The people at the off license would release the goods into my possession. Me and my friends would vote for the goodness of the commands.

       Seconded.

       Note:
UK "off license" = US "liquor store" = AU "bottle shop"

       Carry on.

I’ve also seen “bottle shop” used in USA, but in a different context. The ones I’ve seen specialize in beer, selling it in large bottles or jugs you can bring back for refills. I don’t know how common that word usage or business practice is around the country though. Alcohol laws vary widely among our “united” states (link).
