Caffeinated Creamers

Little tubs of coffee creamer with a hefty dose of caffeine

To save the waitstaff in your favorite restaurant from having to carry around two coffee pots, the caffeine is in the creamers. Two little bowls on the table, one with caffeinated creamers, one with regular. Fill you cup with decaf and add as much caffeine as you want.

... and if you take your coffee black what happens ?
xenzag, Mar 18 2007

[xenzag] Perhaps creamers without cream? Just concentrated caffeine solution? But that might water down the coffee. Hmmmmm.......
Galbinus_Caeli, Mar 18 2007

how about the waiter/ess just brings boiled water, you add granules, and call it Instant Coffee ?
xenzag, Mar 18 2007

       Ewww.
Galbinus_Caeli, Mar 18 2007

Or the waiter could just leave a little bowl of caffeine pills on the table for anyone who wants one - and then to save even more time and effort don't serve separate courses, just mix all the food up together in a bucket and leave it on the table at the start of the meal for diners to dig into.

Why go to the trouble of leaving anything on the tables at all when you could just have a trough that winds its way through the restaurant? Those who pay extra get to have the most choice by sitting nearest the point where the continuous torrent of homogenised food exits the kitchen.

Isn't that what sushi bars do?
Galbinus_Caeli, Mar 18 2007

Sort of. Bone not mine, by the way and have this croissant instead, for being so tollerant and for your original thinking. +

Bone for even suggesting decaff as an alternative for...anything.

'To save the waitstaff in your favorite restaurant'...and if your favourite restaurant happens to be pizza hut...would caffeine qualify as a topping...I could really go for a supreme with caffeine right about now!

BAKED! Not creamers, per se, but I just saw these in a convenience store on my way to work. I was shocked. As if people weren't jacked up enough. Each creamer-sized container is a shot of caffeine equivalent to two cups of coffee.
elhigh, Aug 06 2007

Not a bad idea [+] - but I'd prefer if all coffee was served caffeinated, and those who want de-caffeinated coffee could use methylene chloride-laced creamer to isolate the caffeine.

[elhigh] - creamer-sized containers with the kick of two cups of regular coffee sounds like pre-packed expresso?

as a decaf-only drinker (yes, pity me, please) I bun. +

//and then to save even more time and effort don't serve separate courses, just mix all the food up together in a bucket and leave it on the table at the start of the meal for diners to dig into.//

Haha! Very good, [hippo]. Just like grandma used to make.

       BAKED!!

       I don't know what they're called..Hang on.

Stok. That's what it's called. There's a website, too. I'm not sure it's 'creamer', per se, but here, the site says:

"Comes in a creamer-like container for portion control" "Black coffee shot"

And a lot of other stuff, but that's the jist of it. It's a black coffee shot. Maybe not Baked after all. [link]

       Oh, wait!!!

//add as much caffeine as you want//

That's dangerous. Stok says you shouldn't have more than 2 of their shots daily. Heart attacks and stuff, Google it if you want. Sorry, but that makes it a Bone. Killing people is bad for restaraunts' reputations.
