Guacamole, a pasty substance consisting primarily of mashed avocados and other seasonings, is quickly gaining ground as the de facto standard for tortilla chip accessories. While it is commonplace to make your own, it is often sold in plastic pouches with all air pushed out. While this is a terrific
way to store guacamole prior to purchase, it is inadequate for resealing for casual guacamole users such as myself.
The integrity of the seal on the package is of the essence after resealing, because when guacamole is exposed to air for even a short amount of time, it quickly becomes a dark, undesirable substance known as 'Guacamolous Oxide'.
By packaging it in a *large* tube with a wide nozzle, and an airtight screw-on cap with optional one-way air valve, one could simplify the process immensely. And, sold empty, would allow you to keep your own homemade guacamole.

||I usually buy my guacamole in a plastic tub with a snap on lid. Works just fine for me.
