I HATE stickers

A series of stickers in different sizes that say 'I HATE'. Walk up to something you don't like and adhere. This is best stuck above product logos in such places as supermarkets, music stores, video rentals and around the house.

I think "I Hate" stickers might just be a subset of this idea... [hippo, Jul 05 2005]

I can see where this may have already been done but don't feel like looking it up. I will assume it hasn't and would want some of those stickers. +

I hate "I hate stickers" stickers?
AbsintheWithoutLeave, Jul 05 2005

       Mmmmmm, recursion.
st3f, Jul 05 2005

i get the feeling this would have been done before somewhere -not that i have seen it. but if u could buy these in packs it would be nice.
benfrost, Jul 05 2005

I'm for this if they naturally biodegrade after a few weeks. That way you'd know if something was truely hated if it had many as yet undegraded stickers 'pon it. This is democracy at it's best...sort of.
harderthanjesus, Jul 05 2005

no, completely PERMANENT "I hate" stickers that would require dynamite to remove, especially from human flesh.
po, Jul 05 2005

What about "I LOVE" stickers that you can put on things you love, but don't mind defacing at the same time.
zen_tom, Jul 05 2005

       Feeling bitter today [po]?
wagster, Jul 05 2005

I have seen "EATING ANIMALS" stickers with white lettering and a red background that animal rights activists afix to "STOP" signs (below the word stop).

I wouldn't be surprized if this idea ("I hate") exists but I haven't ever actually seen it. Regardless, the current unavailability of the product and the future possibilty of making any and all publicity into bad publicity gives me desire for some of these.

Could this come in a personalised form, like those things that roll off "This belongs to ____" stickers. (I don't remember what they are called and googling is so far appearing fruitless). I would quite like "____ hates this" stickers.
hidden truths, Jul 05 2005

I'd like a roll of "I hate stickers" stickers.
wagster, Jul 05 2005

The world is full of too much hate. I'd prefer "I LOVE THIS" stickers...For crap things we could be more constuctive and have "I DON'T WORK WELL, FIX ME" stickers.....
Minimal, Jul 05 2005

//like those things that roll off "This belongs to ____" stickers. //

I'm picturing a very square gang with these instead of spraypaint.
Worldgineer, Jul 05 2005

I want a roll of 'I hate 'I hate 'I hate' stickers' stickers' stickers.

^^^^^^^ Bordom. And misery... Splash of, nay, sprinkle of "look at me, I can play with nested concepts"... hmm nah, definitly splash...

Minimal, I agree. How about, NOT MY KIND OF THING. OTHERS MAY LIKE IT stickers?
CloakedBeauty, Jul 05 2005

That could be a tag for Half Bakery ideas.

Visions of hate stickers in my head,
Signs for everyone.

Name that tune. I can see a dystopic future where everything is coated in adhesive patches and wild gangs of 'stickas' rule the streets. Meanwhile, the poor live in shanty towns costructed from the years of built up stickers. Incidentally, if the definition of utopia is a society free from money don't we technically live in in a dystopic society today?
harderthanjesus, Jul 06 2005

       Bowie?
wagster, Jul 06 2005

I knew a couple of Bulgarians in college who hated everything about the US. The air, the people, the pesky criticism of communism...you know, little things.

For everyone but those two people, this is a great idea.
shapu, Jul 06 2005

Maybe this idea could be abbreviated to little happy :)and sad :( face stickers.....
Minimal, Jul 06 2005

       Yup, [wagster]
harderthanjesus, Jul 06 2005

[po] I saw a man (I use the term loosely) with HATE spelled out in tatoo on the knuckles of his hand. I can't imagine the anger that must live inside him, and to be branded for life as a hater.
dentworth, Jul 06 2005

quite common phenomenon, dent. usually have LOVE on the other hand.

       I was only kidding btw
po, Jul 06 2005

dentworth, I once saw someone who had "Eat Shit" tattooed on his forehead.
Ling, Jul 06 2005

Maybe he rented out the advertising space on his forehead to the Shit Marketing Board?
Minimal, Jul 06 2005

I saw someone with "inept" tatooed across his stomache a la tupac's "thuglife". He thought it would be a great bandname, and, after hearing out blatant antipathy towards such a name, decided to go get a tattoo of it to sell us on the idea. We kicked him out of the band the next day, but not before standing around and laughing at him for about ten minutes.
daseva, Jul 06 2005

He should buy a dictionary so he knows what "inept" means... good luck getting a job with any organization that is not run by Dr. Evil with that tattoo...
Kozi4361, Jul 06 2005

What if you just print several sheets of labels that simply say "I hate this thing!", and stick them on anything you want?
XSarenkaX, Jul 06 2005

[+] Show me the twisted individual who thought up that ringtone frog and I'll have them wrapped in HATE stickers in no time!
kuupuuluu, Jul 06 2005

       Or: fishbone stickers

       and correspondingly, croissant stickers.

"Hate" is the path to the dark side. Fishbones don't increase hate, but simply your decision that this item would serve the world better if placed in the compost pile.
sophocles, Jul 06 2005

Hey, don't you know there's no animal products allowed in the compost pile (with the exception of eggshells)? No fish allowed!
XSarenkaX, Jul 07 2005

       I LOVE I HATE stickers.
thesmog, Jul 07 2005

[XSarenkaX] Fish & bones in the compost pile gives it good N2, Ca, & others. Good stuff. It just attracts cats, which isn't too bad, and rodents (just bury it deeper).

Likewise, "bad" stuff doesn't deserve hate, but rather that "bad" stuff should simply be repurposed into something more fitting. "Swords into plowshares"
sophocles, Jul 07 2005

       But I like swords...
Spacecoyote, Feb 14 2009
