The phrase 'crumpled heap' comes to mind.

On business trips I've often wished for a few items in my hotel room (such as a decently clean room in more than one case) that would have made the low to midrange room feel as welcoming as hotels so high end they weren't in the town.

This service, besides sending a maid to ACTUALLY clean your room, would also provide premium products to specification. Want a wicker basket of fresh fruit or a flower vase? A full size coffee maker? Swap a chair for a big massaging e-z chair? A premium laptop already set up in your room? If you've got the dosh we've got the service. The business would go to your room at check in time. (so you may want to wait a couple hours past the earliest check in)

One usually sends one's domestic servants on ahead to prepare one's suite of rooms for one's arrival. If they are not already doing this to your satisfaction, I recommend having your estate management office firing them and hiring better ones.
