Pause When Asleep

Most people aren't binging, they are sleeping.

This feature, pauses whatever movie you are watching when you close your eyes for more then three seconds.

Simple face tracking is all that is required. If no eyeballs focused on the screen, the currently playing content pauses. Anytime you get up to get a snack or go to the bathroom, paused. Fall asleep at 3am after a long shift, right before Keegan swings the bat, paused.

I see a lot of privacy concerns with streaming apps having access to a camera in your home... It's a no from me, dawg.

       However...

I can see commercials being played especially created to whisper to sleeping people so they wake up craving the product.

Can my TV whisper to me that I'm not as hungry as I think I am so I want less food in general?

Sp. "Bingeing", I think ... unless they go "Bing!"

Both binging and bingeing are acceptable, according to dictionaries. However, around 1980, retaining the E became distinctly more popular than dropping it, according to Google Ngram Viewer. (source: Grammarly).

That would go against the purpose it was created for. It would fill your dreams with visions of delicious (name sugar filled treat that's horrible for you here) now with 12 essential vitamins and iron!

What if you are watching porn and your partner becomes quite affectionate and wants to make out? I bet you have had your eyes closed for up to four or five when really ready to engage.

I have been meaning to comment on this idea but I keep falling asleep.

No, what I was thinking is that when you are watching a horror film, or some gruesome wildlife documentary ("cannibal insects in super-close-up" perhaps?), or the news and they go to their reporter in Westminster, and then you close your eyes to block out the disgusting scenes being broadcast into your house. Close your eyes, count to ten, and peep to see if it has finished - Oh No its only just starting still!
