In this restaurant menus are blank sheets of paper. There is also a jar full of pens and markers on the table.

You simply draw, the appetizer, the mains, and the dessert, and hand it to the waiter.

The chef has the latitude to interpret the drawings as appropriate to the ingredients in the kitchen and the capability of cooks.

Enjoy!

This is a thing of beauty. Of course, you'd need the kitchen resources of, say, Buchanan Towers, but that is fine. [+]

There have to be rules, e.g. no text permitted

If your drawing skills consistently net you a dry cheese sandwich and a glass of air, you are at risk for scurvy: treat your favourite starving Artist to dinner so that s/he can sketch more substantial and varied meals for the table!

[pocmloc] -> all the awards for that last post.

Run the image through AI first and it'll generate the picture of the food prior to prep [linkadink].

Wasn't there a device for sale in the 70s that facilitated this process? If my memory is correct, it was called Eggs-a-sketch.

       Intriguing!

I used to like two minute papers. But these days he just breathlessly says "amazing" every three seconds and doesn't actually explain much. Stable Diffusion is amazing and I can't wait for fast transformations to be possible on a desktop.
