Telescopic Arms

Collapse and expand to fit your needs!

This is variant on the "Detachable Arms" idea, but one that gets around the complicated issue of de-/reattachment (and avoids the embarrassment of accidentally misplacing an arm).

Each arm can be collapsed into the end of the shoulder, then expanded back out again when needed. An iris aperture covers the opening to protect the arm and hand from dust, debris, and small items hidden by the cat while you're asleep.

Telescopic arms make sleeping on your side *much* easier, and provide an elegant solution to the awkward positioning problems faced when sleeping with a loved one.

Also great for fans of vintage clothing, as the arms can be adjusted to fit unusual sleeve lengths common in yesteryear's fashions.

How many of you have ever busted a light fixture while pulling on a T-shirt in a room with a low ceiling? Raise your hands.
