This would be a large bumper height swing arm attached to the trailer that pivots out when making a wide turn, to physically block smaller vehicles from darting into the pinch zone.
These things here.

Good idea, probably get away with straps that say "CAUTION - DO NOT APPROACH". Those could be easily mounted sping loaded deals that would get the idea across for a lot cheaper. Be less likely to cause damage accidentally hitting something too. Maybe even have 5 or 6 so it looks like a fence. [+] |

I'd also say you could have a big sheet that matches the paint job of the truck so it looks like it's just flexing such that it blocks anybody from trying to cut around the corner while the truck is turning. Be very visual like "There's part of the truck here, don't care if it's flexible or not, not going to get close to it." |

This is good.
I've seen a car (trying to slip past at a bend) smooshed by a long turning truck. Made quite a mess... |

The main thing this would be really good for is insane bike riders who think because they're saving the environment they can't get crushed by 20 tons of steel. My town's full of "bi-psychos". (bicycles but with the word psy... never mind.) |

I spent my adolescence around semis and don't really comprehend how the general public have no clue about trailers and the physics of how they turn. That was adult lesson 101 for me... |

...well, that, and don't stick your dick in a crazy chick was number two. Don't pass a turning rig on the inside curve is just a given, and should be among the things taught to those never introduced to how easily they can die. |
