car reclinable seat back has a fixed length or height. the neck has to support head's weight all the time.If the back can be made to shorten or lengthen at will, passenger can use a knob to shorten it to a suitable height, then he can put his head on the top of the back,so his neck can rest.I think long
distance bus's,train's,plane's reclinable seat backs should all be made this way would be fine,to ease neck's suffering.

don't head restraints move up and down anyway? |
head restraints can only keep head from moving left or right,,when head is put ON the top of back, like one sits in a sofa.head's weight itself will restrain head in position.and head restraints can not release necks burden -----head's weight.. |
